Philosophy

W.E.T. by Ines Schneider celebrates a modern interpretation of feminine aesthetics – joyful, vibrant, confident, yet clear and precise in cut, uncompromising in quality.
Each design follows the movement of the body, not the rhythm of the season.

For over 35 years, the label has stood for independent design and enduring values.
All collections are produced in Europe – fair, responsible and with great attention to detail.
The prints are created by hand, exclusively drawn by Ines Schneider herself. They define the brand’s unmistakable signature.
Each year she designs new prints, while also reinterpreting classics in fresh colour compositions – giving every collection its own yet instantly recognisable handwriting.
Many of her motifs reveal their secret only upon a closer look: what first appears as stars may turn out to be synchronised swimmers, and a butterfly motif might transform into a three-masted sailing ship.

The collections are made from materials long loved by loyal customers – certified and made in Italy:
Superbiflex*, Cottonstretch*, Popelinstretch* and CottonSilk* (see fabric descriptions).
These mostly elastic fabrics combine quality with ease – easy wear, easy care – and are perfect for travelling: lightweight, shape-retaining and travel-ready.
They are essential qualities for independent women who rely on quality and live life on their own terms.

Each collection combines comfort with structure – creating looks that can be sporty, elegant or contemporary, yet always distinctly feminine.
The premium materials, timelessly flattering styles and artistically playful worlds of form and colour offer a new approach to sustainability – the very opposite of fast fashion.
What no longer fits is never discarded, but often passed on to the next generation.

Because sustainable fashion also means longevity – clothing that doesn’t fade, but accompanies you through life.

A customer once wrote:
“Recently, after more than 15 years, I finally had to part with one of your dresses – it felt a bit like saying goodbye to a dear friend.”
